gender justice and sexism

 What is gender justice? 

                      In the society all humans play their own role. It is very important that different people have different interest and different talents. These individuals may be men or women. But their role in a society is very important to existence of the human. If we think about housewife, she does so many hard works for the family and the society, even it is very essential to the survival of human. Because she produces new generation and she teaches them to how to behave in a society as responsible way.

     In past in Sri Lanka most of the people believed that they want son for their family. At the same time if a daughter born, they believe that, was a curse. Because in the past, man had to earn money and women stay at home and take care of children. So, every family need a son for earn enough money. 

         But now, women have same rights and responsibilities as man and women can be a strength to the man. And also, in present situation women owned the same role in the society. They can learn as men and do great jobs and they can get higher positions of the society. And now women have the ability to suffrage. They can get decision on their position and some times men can’t involve that. And now most of the women are independent. That are the great opportunities that women were reached. If we consider about gender equality, that is also sound that same about gender justice. The difference between gender justice and gender equality are in gender justice about the freedom and interest and in gender equality about the rights and responsibilities. But sometimes we also have to hear about sad things that some women have to face very disgusting situations because of their bellowed father or husband. That is very bad sign of the society.

                        Knowing about sexism is very important. Sexism is mostly affect to the women and girls. In some situations, girls badly hurt because of the sexism and sometimes they suffering from that situation. But most of the times does not it effect of the boys. It has been linked to stereotypes and gender roles. Sexism has two different sides that good and bad. 

                           Good side is the sexism in the romantic relationship. In this type of sexism, the two individuals are happy and there is no harmful effect to that individuals. And there is no mental or physical harm to both of them and also, they involve the existence of the human. Bad side of the sexism if there are many little children was raped by men. It is not good at all to that child and the society. Other bad side of the sexisms are sexual harassment and other form of sexual violence. That actions badly affect for the children mental and physical health. And also, their education is disrupting. Reducing sexism is most important solution for the well being of society. In my opinion to reduce sexism, it is good to provide good education about the sexism to the children in school and the family. The minimum knowledge of the sexism is the reason for the bad effect of the sexism.
